Here's the latest news:
- I visited my parents in Toppings, Virginia (practically North Carolina) for the Blount Family reunion. My father is one of 18 siblings, so the reunion was very well attended, especially when you consider that there were five generations Blounts there.
- My mom baked cake from scratch every day. I woke up to that wonderful smell! So who needed an alarm clock.
- I traveled via Amtrak with my brother. On the train trip home, I left my hippy hat with my Beatles buttons on the seat. Amtrak lost and found has not found it, so I guess someone is happily wearing my hippy hat.
- I'm working a few cakes- a red wagon birthday cake and a kitty-whore cake.
